Overview
Operations software for contracting and field teams (jobs, inventory, billing, time, nested checklists, and coordination), migrated to Feature-Sliced Design and hardened for MFA, persistent login, and camera workflows.
Field service companies live in the gap between a promised Tuesday and a part that never left the warehouse. FieldGrid web is the command center: who is on which job, what inventory is committed, what still needs a signature, and whether time on site is defensible when the invoice goes out.
My web work sat on those screens and on the architecture underneath them. Nested checklists had to work across web and mobile. The Feature-Sliced Design migration had to land without taking production down, including fixing SPA chunk crashes after deploy, and MFA, persistent login, and in-app camera flows had to stay trustworthy.
What it covers
- Day-to-day operations: scheduling, work orders, stock, signatures, billing, and nested field checklists.
- Role-aware surfaces so dispatchers and technicians are not handed the same buttons.
- Post-migration stability: chunk loading, MFA, persistent sessions, and camera capture.
How I contributed
- Shipped nested checklist editors and execution on the web side of a shared web/mobile model.
- Migrated the web app to Feature-Sliced Design and fixed post-deploy SPA chunk crashes.
- Hardened MFA, persistent-login, and in-app camera workflows.
