WorkTrendPulse
TrendPulse
Team project - Software Developer (Contract) at Dynamic Blueprints Inc.
Overview
A production Next.js trend-intelligence app rebuilt from a static HTML demo: 15+ routes, Feature-Sliced Design, authentication, and workspace navigation, with live marketplace signals.
TrendPulse had to read like a believable platform, not a single hero section. The contract work started from a static HTML demo and rebuilt it as a production Next.js and TypeScript application: public story on the outside, intelligence workspace inside, marketplace slice for merchandising and operations.
The job was concrete: keep Feature-Sliced Design as the architecture, restore forecast views that CSS cascade bugs had broken, point the client at the right API base URL, and wire marketplace sparkbars to live supplier results so the commerce story could be interrogated.
What it covers
- Fifteen-plus routes covering marketing, workspace, sector views, forecasts, and a marketplace path.
- Authentication and workspace navigation as first-class product structure, not a later layer.
- Two distinct brand feelings (analytical command center versus retail) without two unrelated codebases.
How I contributed
- Rebuilt the static demo into the production Next.js/TypeScript surface with Feature-Sliced Design.
- Fixed forecast rendering and API base-URL integration so the workspace showed real data.
- Connected marketplace sparkbars to live supplier results.
Outcomes
- Turned a static HTML demo into a TypeScript application with 15+ routes, Feature-Sliced Design, authentication, and workspace navigation.
- Restored forecast views by fixing CSS cascade failures that had hidden the work.
- Corrected client API base-URL integration so workspace data actually loaded.
- Connected marketplace sparkbars to live supplier results instead of placeholder charts.
